INTRODUCTION

Introduction to myself, my own competing history, and my achievements as a prep coach within natural bodybuilding.

1. THE PRE-PREP PHASE

The all important Pre-prep phase. The success of your prep, firstly, comes down to your start point. We cover set your timeline up for an optimal prep, and the variables to consider here within your timeline, and we also cover the biggest downfalls and mistakes not to make, especially if this is your first prep!

2. MANAGING CONTEST PREP

Managing decision making within prep, understanding what to expect at different points within the timeline in regards to rate of loss, and how we assess & understand visual feedback.

3. diet breaks & refeeds

The application of refeeding, diet breaks and gathering data towards landing that final look. We also cover how to understand what method is better to deploy depending upon the athlete and the timeline.

4. nailing the final 4 weeks

Thought processes inside of 4 weeks out, at what point we want to be within striking distance of stage condition, the importance of fatigue managament, and the differences of the utilisation of tools in an assisted athlete vs a natural athlete.

5. nailing peak week

Peak week management, otherwise known as butcher week. Here we cover the main variables that can change the look for the better, and for the worst, mainly looking at sodium, water, and digestibility of food sources.

6. managing show day

Show day management. How we look to communicate and deliver messages, and how your ability to communicate can affect your athletes show day. We also cover how we assess visuals on show day, and the important of understanding the cause and affect of manipulating certain variables, and how we understand ensure the look is landed on time.

7. post show management

Managing the post show phase for the natural athlete, what to expect as you come out of prep in regards to training, food, hormone profile, and understanding why we feel like we do in this post show period.
